I was at a festival, dressed as a unicorn, when I realized my super powers. Embodying a unicorn had come with certain built in features. I could instantly heighten a person or group’s mood. I had the ability to speak euphoria into existence by saying happy things. I could transform energy with my attitude alone. There was power in being behind the horn.
People everywhere called out to me. “Unicorn! Unicorn!” I was approached for hugs and pictures as if I was famous. The crowd seemed thirsty for kind words from an enchanted creature. I told them they were beautiful and that magical things were in store. I filled my long silk scarf with love and light and scattered my intentions with theatrical swishes. I was the unofficial Ambassador of Goodwill.
As I trotted through the crowd, I was halted by an on-duty security guard. “Excuse me, Ms. Unicorn, but it looks like as if you are trailing some rainbows behind you.” I looked back at my wake, and indeed I was.
